Disney’s new parks and resorts will debut on Sept 11, the day before Labor Day, according to the Walt Disney World Resort, which is also the site of Disney’s upcoming Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme parks and Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme parks will open on the day of Labor Day.
“Our parks are coming to a close, and that’s the end of the line for us,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger.
“Our park experience will be enhanced in 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.”
Iger added that the parks and resort will remain open to guests until Oct. 11.
Disney announced the parks’ and resorts’ final dates of completion in June.
The parks are expected to open in 2021 and 2022, with new Disney parks opening in 2020 and 2021.
Disney also announced plans to open Disney’s first-ever resort in the United Arab Emirates in 2021.
