It was a game of the first half.
The goal by Stefano Sturaro put the home side ahead, but Marchetti did not get out of his line enough to prevent it from happening.
As it was, it was all over with, the first leg had ended.
It was still 1-1 at half-time.
But in the second half, the Nerazzurri were in control, and were even in front.
The visitors had the best chance of the game.
As the Bianconeri tried to play out from the back, they did not have the same strength in depth as they had in the first, and when the home fans turned up for the second leg, they were there.
It wasn’t just a case of luck.
It looked like a team that has lost its way in the past.
The Nerazzurgans had not looked like they had played well in their last two matches.
Their form in this phase of the competition has been poor.
For the first goal, Marchettini sent a pass over the top of the defence, and it was just the third goal in four minutes.
That second goal, and the second goal after that, was just one of many problems that Roma have had in this fixture.
They were always at fault for the goals in this game.
It wasn’t until half-an-hour later that things really began to click.
As soon as Sturaro’s cross went in, a simple pass was enough for the Nerazurri to take the lead.
Marchetti’s men looked comfortable in their own half, and as soon as a dangerous cross was played into the box, Roma started to get into good positions.
They were on the front foot, and once again they had the ball in the net.
There were some mistakes from Roma, and there were some chances created by them, but in the end, the result was all down to the quality of the players and the team’s ability to keep possession.
After the first-half goals, Marcetti’s side were the better team.
The home side had a little more time to recover after their late equaliser, and had to play with a much stronger mentality, as well as finding the net more often.
“We did well, but we did not look like we are going to do so well tomorrow,” Roma Coach Antonio Conte said.
“We played well, we deserved to win, but it is too early to think about the result.”
It was a strange end to a wonderful game for Roma.
It didn’t quite go the way they had planned, and with the team being a little shaky at the back and having only just played a game against Inter Milan, they didn’t do a great job of defending.
But they still managed to come out of it, and take the game to Inter Milan at Stadio Olimpico.
Roma are currently in the third tier of Serie A, so it was not just the fact they lost the first game, but also that they had conceded a second goal.
The result was a disappointment for Roma, but there is a reason why Roma are in the Europa League now.
With a draw against Inter, and a victory against Udinese in the last 16, Roma are now in a strong position to reach the final.
Despite Roma’s poor start to the season, Conte is happy with his team, and their chances of advancing to the Champions League are looking good.
He also believes that their performances so far have been important for the rest of the season.
“[We have] not done well enough,” Conte told reporters after the match.
“It was not easy, but I think we have played well and we know what to expect.
We have to look at ourselves, what we are doing wrong, what has been done right and what is needed in the future.
But, with this form, it’s a bit early to say that we will get to the final.”
The Nerazzurs are still looking for a result against Inter in their final match, and are set to do their best to reach that goal.
However, the club’s performances in this stage of the tournament have been poor, and Roma are not at the level that they were in the opening round of the Europa league.
If they can stay on top of their group, they will be able to reach either of their next two matches, and possibly even the next two, if they are able to take care of Inter.
